Angeethi, as the name suggests tries to take us back to the good old times, with the rustic scene in mind. Where you can see a woman cooking on a local made angeethi and the taste of the same smoke mixing with the food and a unique flavour tantalizing your taste buds.
I won's they have been successful in getting that taste actually to your taste buds but yes what they have been successful in doing is to get that feel back to the people who relly relish the north indian and mughlai food. Dal makhani and paneer are my fav's over there.
In terms of ambience there has been a really good attempt though it still doesn't bring in the entire feel of a angeethi kitchen. I would say they have a blend which caters to a modern day person and relates to the old days cooking. USP would be the cooks of angeethi. MID-Day buffet is really wholesome. Even night buffets are good. Weekend rush is sometimes maddening, so book your table before you go. Off course you end up paying a good amount of money.
Service is good, just a bit slow is what I would say owing to the large crowd that throngs the place. One another interesting feature would be the Pan wallah who would humbly come to your table when u r just finishing your food, and trying that Pan is worth it. Though for the people who are more money cautious, you can try the pan ajust outside the museum inn.
Good for corporate parties and night dinners!
