I had an account with this bank for the past 4-5 years, saroornagar branch is very near to our home and the reason for opening account with this bank is the insurance that is linked to the account.


Once starting the account, for one reason or the other it happens to go to the bank as all of us know, but I got fed up with the kind of service they offer.  If their cashiers perform their duty, there are many others who are not just interested in offering any kind of service, be it advice or any other thing.


The problem started with our request for my wife's bank account.  We left a chequebook request and were asked to come back in 2-3 days time.  After that mandatory 2-3 days' time when we went to the bank we were told there was no such request at all.  We were surprised and made another request and came back after another 2-3 days only to be told that it has not arrived.  Later we went to Rajahmundry to attend my cousin's marriage.  After our arrival(probably 10 days passed) we were shocked to find it was not there and were told to apply again, so it took us about a month for getting that chequebook and innumerable visits to get the same.   When will these people realize these mistakes, especially when private banks are sending chequebooks to our home, just by making request at the ATM?


The guy who used to sit beside the withdrawal counter was never seen getting up and bringing something.  All he has to say is to come tomorrow, without  assigning any reason.  There are people who apply for leaves for doing their bank works and such is the treatment we get.  Whenever we require passbook updation, we are told to come in the evening.  If we want to collect pass book for our newly opened account, we need to roam around them for 2-3 times.


Recently this branch started cash deposit machines after which the matters worsened.  There are always 15-20 members standing in the queue and no employee comes to rescue.  Even the security guard does not come to help unless requested for 2-3 times.


If the above things relate to a branch, there are many problems with other branches of this bank.  Really, I find it frustrated whenever I have a transaction with this bank.


Ha! are there no good things about this bank?  They do not object on the amounts of deposits of even non-home branches, like I can easily deposit into my parents' accounts who have their accounts in Rajahmundry branch.
