Amrik Sukhdev came on my friend's list of go to restaurants when I was in Delhi. So, we decided to go there in his car on Sunday. It was around 150 km from our place and we were hungry, really hungry. After a long starving drive we finally reached our destination hoping to eat and just eat. But we couldn't find the table because none were vacant. The place was so crowded that we couldn't even get to sit for like 20 minutes. After trying hard with passionate strategies to get something to eat, we got a table. We ordered some Parathas, Honey Potato Chilli, Chola Bhatura, and Lassi.
The order took 30-40 minutes approximately to come and until then, the ambient noise of the people talking, children crying, people shouting for waiters were enough to irritate and ruin the mood.
Finally, the food came and none of the above was up to the mark except Honey Chilli. The presentation was good but the taste was very ordinary. We only liked Honey Chilli, so we ordered it again. But at this time we didn't get the dish of the same taste. It seemed it was cooked with the different recipe not that good.
So, clearly, It was not worth traveling 150 km to eat that kind of food.
Customer service was awful. My friend said it was because of the Sunday but so what, on Sunday only we get to do something like that.
In my opinion, it's not worth the money if you are covering that kind of distance to eat only. Also, the food was neither expensive but not cheap too.
