Amazon downfall has been started. Now a days they are selling non-returnable products in a wide range, sometimes we may not see or realise that we are ordering some thing which cannot be replaced or refunded.
If we get wrong sized or defective item on delivery, the amazon reluctantly denying the acceptance of the return neither refund the amount.
I have been a loyal customer to the Amazon since its very first launch in 2013 in India. There after amazon did not disappoint me with any of my purchases like led TVs, mobile phones, computer peripherals, everything what not! ? Even we purchase groceries from amazon.
Recently for the first time, We felt very bad and shocked like anything with their customer care agents attitude and aggression towards us, while asking their help for a product which doesn’t fit even after ordering correct size. When Same size of shoes fit perfect from other brands.
I had ordered Hillson gum boots/rubber boots on 1st march, for my wife to use while dealing with water related jobs to protect her feet, followed by the order #405-1882776-5757917, same was delivered on 7th of march. As soon as they arrived we had checked them immediately whether they are in good condition, fit properly.
For our surprise, the boots were way bigger than their actual fitment and mentioned size of no.7 as if they were of size 9. I immediately contacted their amazon customer service chat and explained our issue to arrange exchange or return but not asked them to refund my amount.
On 7th of march their customer agent used to call several times repeatedly ji, ji, ji , ji, ji ( in hindi “sir”) which seemed like unusual and annoying, at last he promised me that they will provide a resolution like return or refund & asked me to wait till march 12th ( their calls been recorded respective teams may listen to it).
And also asked me to provide my name, address, phone number etc., by making a call second time to me and also asked me to rate my experience with their service, I did rated 5 stars and mentioned that I haven’t got any resolution as of now.
Today On 13th of march I did contacted amazon customer care through chat namely Priyanka, she dropped out form chat after listening to my issue and then Juhi has joined and refused to help, I was frustrated by telling the issue again and again to every new agent and by listening to the same song sung by them like our policies our rules, no options etc.
What should we do when the wrong item was sent by their end even if its of a low cost, money is money nothing comes in free! The product cost is ₹; 390 ₹; 100 shipping charges even after purchasing their prime membership total ₹; 490/- what a waste.
1. I asked them to exchange with smaller size, they said no policy exceptions and no options are there.
2. I asked them to take back with return option, they said no policy exceptions and no options are there.
3. I asked them to refund my amount, they said no policy exceptions and no options are there.
4. Out of frustration and my agony I asked them to take back their wastage and I really don’t want the refund, they said no policy exceptions and no options are there.

Now onwards I made my mind not to purchase anything from amazon & if I have to, should read whether it is with
1. Return option
2 No return
3. Only replacement etc.
Or look for other options like Flipkart etc, but not get fooled by their sweet words, false promises & stories.
Amazon doesn’t have heart, I am utterly disappointed…
