PURCHASED BRANDED SHOES(VANS) AND RECEIVED ENTIRELY WRONG ITEM WHICH IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED. THEY STALLED THE RETURN PROCESS FROM THE VERY 1ST CALL TO CS TO CREATE UNNECESSARY DELAY. NOW AFTER STALLING THEY ARE SAYING THE RETURNED ITEM WAS LOST IN TRANSIT AFTER THEIR OWN PEOPLE TOOK POSSESSION OF IT. BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION, THE RETURNED ITEM REACHED AN AMAZON FACILITY ON AUGUST 22, NOW THEY IT'S LOST AND REFUSE TO GIVE REFUND OWED. I HAVE ALL THE RELEVANT SCREENSHOTS AND PHOTOS OF WRONG ITEM RECEIVED TO PROVE I AM TELLING THE TRUTH, I HAVE SENT ALL SCREENS/PHOTOS TO BOTH AMAZON AND NDCA, NOBODY CAN DENY THIS SELLER IS CHEATING AND REFUSING TO GIVE REFUND, AND AMAZON IS PROTECTING THEM ALSO, NOT COOPERATING WITH ME TO GIVE BACK THE MONEY OWED. I TRIED TO UPLOAD PHOTOS TO MOUTHSHUT SITE BUT DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL BE VISIBLE. BELOW IS AN EMAIL I SENT TO NDCA:
Kindly see photos attached to this mail. I am sharing any/all details to help you do the needful. Amazon has failed to update refund status after August 22. They are delaying process. From the start I had problems, CS was not helpful on 1st call, then 2 days later an illiterate person called me from a Mysore phone number saying he was "investigating" the matter, and wasted my time asking same question 6 different times. All this harassment was done AFTER I sent screenshots and delivery photo to CS, PROVING the seller sent wrong item. They act like they are protecting this faulty seller. I made the 1st complaint and uploaded photos to the app immediately after receiving the package. After the incident with the Mysore illiterate, I called CS again, got a different guy who started the return process which the 1st 2 refused to do. Now after they picked up the item they are not updating refund process properly, not replying my email.
In closing I have NEVER been put through this much hell from Amazon when returning botched orders, I always provide photos and do things very transparently when asking for corrections or refunds, and usually the situation is sorted in 12-24 hours without harassment and throttling of processes. Why they are doing white collar goondagiri now is beyond me.
