Defective Camera delivered by Amazon.

Amazon is simply super fraud e-commerce Company. It seems that there is no return policy at Amazon. I have been forced to write this message after a very bad experience with Amazon and when nobody has solved my issues even after repeated reminders/discussion. As on date 19.07.2024, my problem has not been resolved.


Vide order Order #403-4546345-8401169 dated 02.07.2024, I ordered a Fujifilm Instax mini 11 camera. It was sealed delivery and during delivery of the item, delivery agent ask me to open the box. During opening the box it was clear that battery case is damage. There is no connection wire or thin plate in battery case. Either this part was damaged or broken in shipment. Delivery agent suggests me to make complaint for the item .(Picture attached)


As I was out of station for personal work and due to network problem, I called customer care on 09.07.2024 and talked in detailed. Customer care lodge a complaint and told me it will take 4 days. I told them, return window will close on 14.07.2024 (as mentioned in Amazon site), then they replied , once you made the complaint, return window will be active after close date.


I called on 13.07.2024 to get it confirmed about my complaint, as return window was to closed on 14.07.2024. Amazon customer care transferred my call to concern executives and surprisingly he sought at me and mentioned that, your complain resolution time is 4 days then why you are making enquiry on that. I told simply, return window will close on 14.07.2024 that is why I want to make it confirm that if you will not provide the solution then what will I do after closing of return window. He confirmed that, once your complaint is raised window will not close.


I opened my email and got shocked that they have all ready sent an email on 11.07.2024 mentioned that "you tried to return items that are different to the item that you ordered" . I was surprised, neither return was showing in Amazon app nor customer care was telling about return, No one came in my home to collect the item, then how Amazon mentioned in email that "return items that are different to the item that you ordered".


And also it is surprising, Amazon executive knowing the fact that they have already sent the email 11.07.2024 regarding refusal of return, knowing the fact they assured me on 13.04.2024 that my issues will be resolve by 15.04.2024. It means they made me fool so that return window gets closed on 14.07.2024.


On 16.07.2024 I called again customer care they rudely misbehaved and cut the call and mentioned that they can’t do anything. When I told about past discussion then they told sorry we can’t return or replace your item. I complaint though tweet but they refused to help.


Now, Amazon force me to discuss my issue globally, Firstly I shared my issues on Twitter but they did not help. I discussed with my all friends, some of my friend was waiting for purchase Laptop, Cell phone , TV , Refrigerator etc during Prime sale on 20-21.07.2024 but after knowing the fact of Amazon they dropped their idea and avoid to purchase anything through Amazon.


Just think what Amazon did with me, I don’t want anyone face the same problem like me. So I request to everyone, think multiple time before ordering from Amazon. I think many of innocent people will trap in Prime sale ( 20-21 July, 2024)and after delivery of defective items Amazon will deny to replace/return.


My question is that, is Amazon duty only to earn commission by selling the defective item ? . It is not expected from company like Amazon.


This is the story of Amazon company. Who only try to make fool us by selling defective item and finally refused to replace or return. Amazon is only thinking about their commission and not about the customer's emotion. They might be thinking that nothing will be happened by losing one customer like me but day will come and then Amazon will realize about their fault.


Once again I request Amazon to look into my issue seriously and return my Camera at the earliest.
