Hi Friends, I want to share my experience with Aloft hotel ( now known as medallion hotel) . On 15-16 November I had a night stay there. I would not recommend this hotel because :
Room service has got levels down. Not at all as per 3-star or 4-star standards.
I got mosquito bites over my neck, called reception thrice but no mosquito repellent was provided. After repeated requests they got my room shifted at 2 AM.
There were no slippers present in room, again I had to wait for 1 hour to get them after making a request at reception.
Moreover the pool is not well maintained. One can see dirt at the corners of the pool.
Though it's quite cheaper than the nearby hotels but you need to compromise on quality.
You can get room at 4000/- per night incl breakfast if you ask for corporate discounts.
The only positive aspect is the ambiance. Tgey have big space for reception & restraunt. But manpower training is still required if they want repeat guests.
Overall I would suggest you to seek other options for night stay.
