This serial by David Kelley revolves around a central character Ally played by Calista Flockhart is a lonely, confused lawyer who lives in her inner world. She is lonely and is desperate to find a partner and the way her mind works is a brain of every girl. The serial is on the lawyers working in a firm of “cage and fish.” Ally is a lonely and an unstable woman of 29,who was hurt when her childhood sweetheart, Billy got married to another lawyer which he met in Michigan, Georgia. She becomes desperate and hyper active when she sees a single guy but due to her sheer bad luck there
relationship doesn’t work out. This is the show for all age groups for entertainment and one can know about a woman’s brain. The show is sometimes touchy and sometimes funny. The performance by calista to be such a confused, lonely and sissy and an emotionally unstable woman is marvelous and the role really suits her.
The other characters are John Cage and Richard fish that own the firm. John lives in his inner world but he is a very good lawyer and he is the only one who understands Ally the best. And his stunt in the court really amuses one watching it. Richard fish is happy with Ling played by Lucy Liu
She is very weird and gives a lot of dirty glares to anyone who doesn’t agree with her (she’s famous for that). The secretary of the firm Elaine keeps an eye on everyone’s private affair and gives a free advice to everyone. Nell is
A very good lawyer of the firm and loves john cage and tries to understands him and which is a difficult task. Georgia and Billy were a couple and now are divorced.
These characters are shown beautifully in the serial and I believe that all the actors have a nature like the one that they play in the serial in real life.
David Kelley has done an excellent job as he has left nothing in the serial and has all the ingredients in the right proportion.
