Summary:
1. They lie about delivery timelines & cost and make wrong commitments to pick up the order.
2. They do not pick up phone after taking order.
3. It takes multiple follow ups and many phone calls to get them to respond.
4. They send you from one person to other to resolve your queries/ complaints, after taking the order.
5. They're very rude and abusive and do not handle customer respectfully.
6. They’ll damage your goods(they’re quite unprofessional in managing logistics) and then not give you the full picture about the damage done. When caught they’ll try to shift the blame on you.
7. They’ll blackmail you into paying the full amount before they deliver the goods to you(while keeping you clueless that your goods have been damaged)
My overall experience: They're not trustworthy and reliable. They don’t seem to be a professional logistics company. Do read the feedback from other customers before deciding on this company
(BTW, I checked RoC records and Allianz Packers and Movers has been "struck off" from RoC records as a registered company. Which means they are doing business illegally)
Details of my experience:
I booked their service from Gr. Noida to Bangalore(on 12th Mar'24). Mohit Mishra came to my house for survey and made estimate and I paid a booking amount. I asked when consignment will be delivered in Bangalore, to which Mohit Mishra mentioned 19th Mar.
When the consignment did not reach on 19th Mar, I started chasing up with Mohit & he did not pick up phone & started messaging me other people's mobile numbers to chase up with. He gave me Sandeep Shekhawat and Surender's(the proprietor, I suspect) mobile number.
Both guys did not pick up phone at first. After lots of calling and follow up, Surender picked up and told me that the consignment would reach on 21st Mar. Sandeep(who is the warehouse in-charge) was downright rude and gave me completely different story. He told me that consignment did not move as full payment was not done. I told him that, at the time of booking, no one told me that consignment would not move from Gr. Noida without full payment & that I had told Mohit, at the time of booking, that full payment would be made after delivery of consignment in Bangalore. At this stage, Sandeep told me talk to another person called Ramesh. I told him I did not know who Ramesh was, to which he said Ramesh had Whatsapp-ed you on 13th Mar(this was the day after the goods were picked up from my house). I checked my messages, and I saw there was some messages from some random number and no name was mentioned in those messages. I assumed this was the Ramesh he was referring to. I told Sandeep that I had already messaged back to that number that full payment would be made only after delivery in Bangalore.
He said, no make payment now or the material will not move. I said this is entrapment & after collecting goods from my house they cannot blackmail me to make full payment to move consignment to Bangalore. He said he cannot do anything and that I should speak with Ramesh. I was pissed and again called Surender. Again after multiple calls, he finally picked up and told me that the consignment left for Bangalore only on 20th Mar and would therefore reach Bangalore in another 4 days time(i.e. on 25th Mar). I was already regretting my decision to send my household goods with this company.
I was finally informed on 28th Mar that the goods have reached Bangalore. I was told to pay up the full amount and only then they would deliver the material to me. I was shocked as I had clearly told their representative at the time of booking the movement on 12th Mar that I would pay a token amount as advance and rest would be paid upon delivery to my home. I made frantic calls to Surender and Sandeep. I told them they’re blackmailing me now after taking the order and that this was not what was committed to me at the time of placing the order. They admitted that Mohit may have made wrong commitments to me at the time of taking order and that I would have to pay the full amount if I wanted delivery now. I became highly suspicious as to why they’re suddenly changing the agreed terms at this stage. I told that they were assured of me paying up as they were going to come to my house and could collect payment from me 1st hand. But they were adamant and this obviously irritated me no end. I told that if they told me this on 12th Mar I would not have booked their services and that their company should live up to their commitment. They started arguing with me, were both abusive(were literally spouting filthy abuses in Hindi). I slammed the phone down and did not talk to them anymore. Their local representative Mahabir was made to call me the next day and he told me that I could come and check the goods at their Bangalore warehouse, if I wanted, and I could collect the goods after making full payment there. I declined their offer and told them I would only after they delivered the goods to my place, as committed.
For the next 1.5 months they did not call up and I also did not budge as a matter or principle. Cut to 24th May, I needed my furniture and goods badly now and I offered to come and see the goods and make payment to have my good delivered to my house. When I went to their warehouse on the outskirts of Bengaluru, I was horrified to see that the goods had been damaged badly. The legs of my steel Godrej almirah was broken and the almirah could not stand on its feet and so they had kept the whole almirah upside down on its head. There were goods inside the almirah also, which would’ve been damaged as well. I now realised why they were asking for a full payment before delivery!
I refused to make the payment and told them I would press charges against them if they did not refund the value of the broken almirah and goods. They did not relent initially but after a few days they told me that they would reduce the bill by 2000/- as a refund for the damaged almirah. Imagine a steel Godrej almirah was being valued for Rs. 2000 only.
At this stage I was fed up but I needed all the furniture items as I had guests coming over to my house and needed the furniture for that purpose. So I had no option but to pay the balance amount in full and take possession of my goods, which I did on 1st June.
MORAL: Do not give your business to this unscrupulous bunch of frauds. They’ll say anything and quote any price to pick up the order and then you are at their mercy. They’ll not deliver the goods on the committed time, they damage your goods with their unprofessional operations, they’ll be abusive when you start asking questions and then blackmail you into accepting their terms of delivery.
I suspect they’re not even a registered company anymore, just a bunch of 3-4 goons managing this racket from Mahipalpur(near Delhi).
For anyone who is reading this, pls. Remember that it is our duty as consumers to ensure that such unscrupulous ‘companies’ are denied business and forced to close down. So, pls make the right call as a consumer after paying attention to the feedback from to other consumers.
I WOULD STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO-CALLED “COMPANY”
