My child enrolled at Allen Bangalore HSR for JEE-MAIN+ADV(Ph1 & 2) for 11th and 12th Engineering.
1. HSR Admin supervisor is arrogant with parents. Pathetic behavior from him.
2. Allen HSR works only on Super talented students. They DO NOT concentrate on talented, above average and average students.
3. They DO NOT put any effort to clear basic doubts for NCERT, rather admins are good at abusing the parents.
4. Teachers are instructed to focus only on Super talented students. They are only 3% of the entire business.
5. This is MES(money earning service) business model of several crores by not serving 97% students.
6. There is ZERO arrangement to understand and address students who need:
(a) Basics of NCERT concepts.
(b) Exercise and Miscellaneous of NCERT for each chapter.
(c) Exemplar of NCERT.
(d) Preparation of Term1, Term2 and Pre-boards of NCERT.
(e) Previous year questions on NCERT.
(f) Then move to IIT main level questions.
(g) Then upgrade to IIT advanced level questions.
7. They directly go to(f) and(g) and 90% students are stuck on(a) to(e).
8. Teachers, Allen group and admin do not have any arrangement to deal with students scoring less mark(below 200).
9. They have no mechanism to improve those students and bring them up gradually over a period of 2 years.
10. This results in:
(a) Destruction of Student academic career at the most crucial time
(b) Stops Student's opportunity to stand and grow in life
(c) Allen Bangalore HSR trapped them to get crores of business
11.Allen Bangalore HSR is tied up with multiple schools in & around. Impact of that is:
(a) Some section has students from multiple schools. Exam timelines and courses of each school and Allen are different.
(b) School and Allen will follow different order in completing portions.
(c) If Allen is teaching 4 chapters of Physics, school is teaching another 4 chapters and students have to prepare for exam. Students are loaded with pressure from Allen and school for separate chapters and exams right from the Unit test.
(d) This destroys the confidence and motivation. They get mentally disturbed and dejected. They are totally down when they see the results of both exams.
(e) It's absolutely poor planning, suicidal for students and recipe for disaster.
(f) This entire model is for Max business for Allen, Minimal return for student.
(g) As students fail to cope up, they move to the weekend class which also do not have mechanism to address NCERT.
(h) Then students have to bypass Allen to have 1:1 teachers at home to cover 6(a) to(e).
(i) In the process, Students career is gone, parents end up losing upto 3L for 2 years.
(j) Might be 3% of parents of Super talented students is benefitted.
12. There is NO escape as you will have to pay fee at one go or max 2 instalments.
13. There is NO refund facility partly or full.
14. You cannot expect individual attention or care for your ward after spending so much.
15. Allen Bangalore HSR do not care if your Ward is getting less mark.
I strongly DO NOT recommend Allen for any students except super talented who will get IIT anyway, maybe higher rank with Allen's exam preparations.
For Only Exam preparation, there are numerous places to do with much minimal fee.
For other students, you will go down from your present level. Your return from Allen HSR will be negative. As time is crucial, You will get stranded between NCERT preparation and with No hope of engineering and time of 16 months gone by the time you realize the trap.
