Akhil - The Power of Jua: Soundtrack Review
The big debut of Akkineni Akhil’s ‘Akhil- the Power of Jua’ has two musicians, Thaman and Anup Rubens, on board to compose music and the two of them being the top music directors of Tollywood has its impact on the album.
The album has a total of five tracks starting with ‘A Akhil’ sung by Rahul pandey and Anup Rubens which stands good for its beats.
The second track is ‘Nenekkadunte’ sung by Ranjith and Sharanya; Ranjith’s energy of voice is evidently seen in the song, and is undoubtedly the best track of the album. The next song, ‘Zara Zara Navvarade’ a semi-melody sung by Mihana Bhogaraju and Divya Kumar falls to the lines of usual Anup Rubens tunes, still an enjoyable one.
The fourth song, ‘Akkineni Akkineni’ sung by Divya Kumar is the most avoidable song of the album for its horrible lyrics and stereo tuning. The final song ‘Padesave’ sung by Karthik and MM Manasi stands as a melody with new breeze, that magical voice of Karthik takes the song to another level. The songs are technically sound with good use of modern instruments; the sound mix of ‘Nenekkadunte’ was really exhilarating.
Even after having two top musicians, the album falls to the level of above average category for the use of heard tunes, not-that-great kinda lyrics and lack of novelty. The songs will offer a repeated mode for its rock tunes but definitely lack that close to heart approach! Overall, a good album that appeals the mass, will be apt, for the movie being an entertainer!
