Airtel -'India's fastest network', this is what we heed in commercials. Right? But that's not the reality. Today, I will share the real face of Airtel behind their false commitments. I'm really very troubled with the Airtel mobile services. Several peoples may feel satisfied with their services but I have encountered severe problems that have not been taken attention instead of complaining several times.
I am using airtel for few months and now I realized that their priority is money making and a customer doesn't mean anything to them. Below is the reason.
A few weeks ago, I recharged my airtel number with the pack of Rs. 398 which has a validity of 84 days with 1GB data and unlimited calling but after few days my balance started decreasing, I was in complete shock. After a thorough inquiry, I came to acknowledge that the offer is valid only for a 4G sim.
I was using 3G, therefore I'm not eligible for availing the benefits of that service. But, that wasn't my fault. At the time of recharge, there was nothing mentioned that only 4G users can avail this service. I don't know why they hide such terms and condition. According to me, they desire to receive a hunk of profit by bilking innocent customers who don't understand such kind of cheap business tricks.
Later on, I switched to 4G. But, it was nothing more than a foolish step which I realized later. I had subscribed to their 4G plan of Rs.449 in which they provide 1GB per day 4G data and unlimited calls. In reality, it gives a speed of 3G and many times even 2G. There is no conventional network available even though you are in the coverage area. Finally, I switched the network and started using different mobile service. A really bad experience:(
