Like many others.I must agree that the customtakeouter service has been pathetic.I have tried calling the so called customtakeouter service nos. and each time getting to speak to a call centre guy would take atleast 5 to 10 minutes after repeatedly trying for atleast 15 to 20 times.


Each time, the call centre guy would say…Sorry Sir, I will ensure this is getting fixed the next day itself…but as I write this my problem still persist.


I have also written to the nodal office in Chennai – M . George Joseph, .hoping my problem will be resolved atleast by tomorrow.


One humble request….please do not buy Airtel DTV in TamilNadu/Chennai….Please get in touch with some local operators who can be contacted and support provided in 24 or 36 hours.

Hi George - I am currently having problems with my DTH for the past 4 days. I have contacted the call centres and each time they raise a ticket and close it as well.but the issue has not been resolved yet. The various tickets raised and the date are also given for you to help me.




  1. 7223125 - 21/04/2011 - Problem not resolved




  2. 7255036 - 22/04/2011 - Problem not resolved




  3. 7292452 - 23/04/2011 - Raised the ticket only today






The first two that were raised were closed the next day without someone checking whether the problem has been resolved or not. They say it was a wrong PIN No, but below is the address and I have checked the PIN Code on the Speed Post Site as well for confirmation.


I also contacted the Airtel Relationship Centre with my problem, a lady agreed to help me but in vain. Hence I would need your help to look into this. I understand this could be trivial but for a customtakeouter this is important.
