Airtel still harassing me for bill payment quoting bills are valid. They are trying to convince they don't have any option to Adjust or can adjust only part of the Amount. I told them I am not going to pay even a single Rupee.
They were explaining me everything orally over calls but when I confront them saying please provide your explanation in the Same Email they are escaping. Its been 3 weeks since I am chasing them every alternative day and they say bills are valid orally but refuse to give me in writing in the same email. This itself shows their corrupt practises. All these 3 weeks communication is happening with their Nodal team who are also the same.
many said in the replies Airtel is good network, even I do agree to the same and that's why I took the connection. But what ever Airtel is doing like the below and refusal to give their explanations in writing are definitely proving that their practises are illegal and cheating.
I have taken a 4g Connection with number #7331121385 along with Hotspot device from the kiosk airtel has setup in my office at Waverock Building in Hyderabad. It worked fine with couple of initial hiccup's till Feb 2016 end. From March 1st I started finding out I am unable to connect and checked with relationship center in the same building, they informed me about an isolated issue of 4G in the area and will be rectified soon and advised me to use dongle in Auto mode so that I can still use on available network of either 3g or 2g. Later in the month of march I have to travel to bangalore for official purpose and found that this dongle still don't work on 4G. I have called the customer care and checked to understand that they have deactivated$4G on my number on 1st of March and when I asked why and who did it they mentioned no idea but it is deactivate in their systems.
From then I started following up with them every now and then and they say they will call me back once fixed and I haven't got any followups from them. After pushing with customer service hard I got a call saying it is fixed and to check the connectivity and when I checked it, it didn't worked and several attempts and call back to customer service and relationship centers also didn't made them to fix the issue. All I kept on hearing from them are suggestions like "Use in Auto mode" or "4G on airtel is cheaper like 3G so use in auto mode to work on 3G".
For 2 months they haven't done anything including bill waiver and connection close requests but generating the bills for service which they didn't provided me at all.
From May onwards I started getting calls from their irritating bill collection department idiots who were not taught any manners by Airtel. They kept on irritating me all day with calls when I am in meetings, and when I say I want to talk to your supervisor and explain they say why do you want to talk to our supervisor and all and never allowed me to talk to their supervisors.
I have escalated this to the customer care again and they informed me they have registered request for waiver and should wait for 2 to 3 days. During the call when I told I don't want the calls from their collection department, he mentioned for that to stop I have to pay the outstanding bill immediately and that's the only way. When I informed him that I want to record this and asked him to repeat, he is not ready to repeat the same.
Have waited for couple of more days to escalate it to Nodal Officer on 11-06-2016 and till date no acknowledgement, response or resolution from them. I have sent another follow up mail today and felt its worth to post it on social forums as well for others not to become pray for their Advertisements which are only for publicity and doesn't reflect their customer service.
Last one to Airtel: FY Advertisement of Airtel 4G in remote places - First fix the issues in cities and make 4G available there. Which remote areas shown in your advertisements have people who uses 4G?/
About your open network: Are you ready to show relatime, the network bands that are running from the towers including signal strength and the tower running status? I bet you wont. You just show towers but majority of them will be switched off to save your electricity bills and running costs.
