In Indian Market, Aircel was the most economic mobile operator who used to offer extremely low price for calls and data back in the day.But now the story have changed.They no longer offer decent plans, at least in Kerala.
But now I am no longer worried about their price or plans to offer, because I have switched from Aircel way too long before.In our region, i.e in the state of Kerala, Aircel always had higher rates than rest of India.I don't know why.
But the real problem was different. Aircel had extremely bad network coverage here.I could use the sim card only if I was within the city borders, in villages, it always shows emergency calls only.What is the use of a mobile phone incapable of making calls.In cities too, the range was very less and call drops are very frequent. It was so horrible that messages will not get delivered, cannot surf internet without any flaws and son on.Aircel had lost almost all its subscribers in Kerala and now I think they have stopped their services here, because I personally don't know even one person who still uses Aircel connection.The services were affordable but useless without coverage.I am now happy with BSNL and Vodafone.
