Air Asia just launched flights from/to Kochi, Trivandrum & Kolkotta ex Kuala Lumpur.
I had an opportunity to try COK-KUL, KUL-SIN-KUL and KUL-COK KUL-TRV in 3 trips.
It was nice to see air travel being stripped to the very bare minimum of the frills; nevertheless the objective of travelling from point A to point B is successfully met.
The cabin crew were friendly and never treated the passengers as 3rd rate (as per my experience with some other SEA budget airline).
Interesting options being:
pre-book your seat location with a small fee
pre-order your meal - must try some of the malaysian dishes - nasi lemak & even Biriyani
3. Sports equipment charge is only about USD 17 for 15kg
- Surprise your kids by pre-ordering a blanket-eye shade-travel pillow travel kit in a neat red bag.
