Ah Aah - Aaaha ! Super!. Review on Ah Aah Songs

Ah aah! When a teenager listened to this tittle,he would be '' Hey Machan,tittleleye oru mathiriya iruke machan! '' but its doesnt mean that way! Its AHnbe AAHruyire(Spelled in Tamil that way,ofcource without that H)thus,it becomes AH Aah...its the right album to release when A.R.Rahman has gone missing in Tamil Music Industry for correctly 1 year plus.His last album was NEW which also had the SJS as the Director,Actor,Dialogue,Producer!This albums brings both positive & negative from everyone!But as for me,it brings 100% positive review...its safe to read my review ;)!

1.Mayiliragai - Madhushree & Naresh Iyer

Its a song from my second favourite singer Madhushree (which my first favourite singer is Sadhana Sargam )Just one word to describe this song - WOW!From the instruments to the way Madhushree & Naresh's vocals,its perfect!Ofcource 1 thing will be commented by everyone when they listen to this song - Madhushree's Tamil Diction!But no one can render this song better than Madhushree if u ask me,but there is one more person who can ,Sadhana Sargam (by now everyone would know that Madhushree & Sadhana Sargam sounds the same ).Still guessing whether she is saying Tamizha Tamizha Tamizha or Tamizho Tamizho Tamizho !! Well,but trust me,you would enjoy the song 100%!From the starting beat untill the ending of the song! The lyrics by Valee shocking sounds so fresh & so quality!!It has the 1960's feel to the song!The arrangements of this song deserve a special mention,especialy when the song starts,it feels like its playing with your ear drums!and the way Madhushree ends the song is HEAVAN!

2.Thigu Thigu - Sadhana Sargam & Blaaze

Here comes my first favourite singer with an excellent start! '' Eh Eh Thala Thala Thala, Eh Ane Ane Ane ''It starts with the blur quality and then it blast in the superb quality!(What effect do u call it again?EQ Equaliser?)Later on it goes with a sexy renderation and heavy beats backing up behind!Overall it has great interlude,very good diction by Sadhana & bad diction from Blaaze,he goes on sayin '' Ana Ana Ana''Is he calling anyone by the name Ana?:PThe way Sadhana says '' Angam Thangam Miradangam'' is just so mesmerising!This song also has the 1960's feel at the pallavi of the song!Overall good song!

3.Maramkothiye - Shankar Mahadevan,Vasundra Dass,Shalini & Blaaze

Starts with a funky beats & with Blaaze saying '' Would I be a woodpecker'' I would seriously want to know what is Blaaze problem with giving such childish words for a great dance piece like this!I Would like A.R.Rahman to stop letting Blaaze giving his 'masterpiece' for ARRahman's songs!Please!Its basic tune is from Mayiliragai which I only noticed after my 2nd listening!Great song with good vocals,i seriously dont know where did Shalini sang,all I hear is Vasundra Dass's voice!Has the Fanah - Ayutha Ezhutu Feel somehow!Overall a good song,it would be great if it didint had the Blaaze's ''rapping''!

4.Ah Aah - Anbe Aaruiyre - A.R.Rahman

Is this a song by A.R.Rahman for all the tamilians?????The lyrics actually like explaining about A.R.Rahman's feeling on the Tamilians,with all the '' Neengal Illamal Naan inge Illai Illai ''Lyrics by Vaale is simple yet meaningfull,somehow at the age of 75,Vaale sounds very young with the lyrics in this album!The song has great tune & what else machan,A.R.Rahman is singging!But im definetly not attached to the song somehow!

5.Varugirai - Hariharan & Chitra

Great song!with very indian tune with western beats!Who else but not A.R.Rahman who can give these kind of songs?(I meant the perfect,not the halfboil like others gives)The tune somehow is not like something A.R.Rahman normaly does,i guess there is where SJS-ARR combo shines!something ''New''!No else but Chitra,the 6th National Award singer can render this song better!Its more of a situational song,wont attract many without watching it on screen!The way Hariharan saying '' Vithuthalai Adhaitheven'' and the music following it behind creates magic!A.R.Rahman! Good!

6.Thazhuvadhu - SPB & Sherya Goshal

I first listened to it when I saw the trailor,got amazed with the tune,but I didint know that ,that particular bit will only appear in the song twice,when starting & ending of the song...lol!ARRahman's briliance can be seen here with various renderation by the singers & new beats!Is the this Sherya who sang many tamil songs with bad tamil diction?Shockingly this had more tounge twisting words & Sherya manage to give it perfectly! Well done Sherya!At first I thought it was Madhumita ( did u realise both Sherya & Madhumitha has simular voice?)Madhumitha...Sorry to say,but Sherya definetly wins the battle!Her voice is just pure magic,she sounds very different from the Devdas Sherya!SPS as usual with his high pitched voice running around the song!But this is definetly a SHERYA's song!Just listen to the way she says '' Kannalaaa'' and the way she goes '' Tha Tha Taa Tha Thazhuvudu Nazhuvude hoi '' from 5:18 - 5:28!Great!!

Overall,a magic album from A.R.Rahman is definetly a refreshing album from A.R.Rahman is the past 1 year starting from New untill Rising!This albums belongs to Mayiliragai,Tazhuvhudo & Anbe Aaruyire... Ah Aah - Stands out to be his best Since Ayutha Ezhutu! Rahman ! Super!!Just watch what this album is going to do to Tamil Music Industry! Mark my WORDS!
