I have always used Agarwal for shifting, which has been 4 times now in the past 10 years I have found it to be efficent and reliable. Especiallly for my car. Their services are the most expensive but were worth it.
This time however, after I finished with the shifing, I decided to look for an alternative if at all required in the future.
One cant find fault with their efficiency still. They have experienced staff, they pack EVERYTHING lying in your house. They act on the principle of packing and immobilizing, after they have packed something, they may push it around a bit, they say it wont get damaged.
The arrival is on time. Staff is fairly friendly. Unloaders are efficient too.
The following are my complaints:
My car got 5 or 6 deep scratches, one of its door handles was broken and its body was vibrating significantly more than it does. Since it was delivered at night, I could not make out all the scratches and I signed the form. No number of phone calls to the local or main office could help me out.
Tip; The workers expect you to be very generous with your tip, if dissatisfied, they will ask for more. This is apart from whatever stuff you may want to give them from your household things. So a tip of few thousand is expected on both the loaders and the unloaders. I guess one can refuse, but still.
No feedback. No one called me to find out if I was happy with their service or if I wished to give any comments / feedback.
4, A shade too expensive
So I shall be looking for an alternative next time.
