I recommend NOBODY should book luggage through DRS group of AGARWAL PACKER & MOVER. Horrible experience and damages on my goods.
I have booked shifting from Chennai to Mumbai with GC no. 4646670 and 4646669 on date 19.06.2019 and thank god items were finally delivered on 30.6.2019:
1. The promise on booking was for 24 feet vehicle however vehicle given was only 20 feet.
2. The loading and unloading staff harassed for tips and extra money and argued for more than 1 hour during loading and unloading.
3. The plant pots were not loaded initially but after lots of argument and talking to higher-ups in the company, same was done, all plants damaged on delivery. Total 8 items damaged and not replaced so far or surveyor not reached for assessment.
4. Following staff and officials were not friendly and I recommend severe action against them for their incompetence in expected customer service- Vikas, Ravi Upadhyay and Rajesh Chaturvedi at Chennai and Ramesh and Dinesh Pandey at Mumbai. They were continuously not responding even on repeated calls.
5. Materials were loaded with my 2 locks on truck door but different truck reached my place with many damaged items, locks not given back to me.
6. There was a dent in the car on receipt. Pendrive not given back to me.
7. Household item reached on 5th day but car reached on 12th day with 235 km run by road and dent in car. Why car run for 235 km?
8. Surveyor for damaged items assessment not reached till 12th day i.e. till 30th June 2019. 9 items found damaged.
9. I made more than 70 calls to chase and get items delivered. Every time no exact info was given on calls.
10. I have filled 15-litre petrol before handing over to packers but driver at Mumbai not taken car telling there is no petrol in car for 1 day and asking me who will pay for petrol.
11. My questions—
Why I was told to put locks on truck and why locks were removed?
Why door to door delivery on the same truck was not done?
Why items were damaged?
Why there is no single window system for all activities and we have to contact many people for getting back items and items survey, claim settlement, etc?
Why no online tracking or calls from DRS staff to update the location or delivery date and time to customer?
Why locks from truck and pendrive from car are missing and not given so far?
Why car was driven by road for 235 km from booking to door delivery?
Overall experience was horrible. Facing above problems and seeing the attitude of dealing persons, all 12 days I was really afraid whether my items and car will be delivered in good condition.
No feedback on tracking of vehicle was given to me. There is no online tracking facility. I strongly discourage anybody especially of central govt, booking DRS group of Agarwal Packers for shifting and facing so many difficulties in getting back items.
The staff behavior is horrible. They don’t respond after getting money.
After a lapse of 40 days, settlements are still pending. The repair cost of damage is approx Rs. 12000 but they offer only Rs. 5000.
