We had moved our household goods from Gurgaon to Bangalore on Aug 21. It was a harrowing experience, to say the least. Let me give some details:
1.They gave a quote for a certain vehicle type but then on the day of packing, they called to change it to a smaller one else they threatened to cancel the packing. This is the way they get business - quote lower, make customers commit, and then they blackmail you. beware!!!
2.On the first day of packing, instead of coming at 10 am, the packer team came at 3 pm after many follow-ups from our side. This is because we had to settle for a smaller vehicle else they were threatening not to come and we had to agree because we had taken a place on rent already in Bangalore.
3.They had committed to putting the glass dining table top in a crate and the LED TV in a crate - BUT THEY DIDNT. They have included this as an additional cost in the quotation. BEWARE.
4.The truck took 9 days to come 2100 KM. DRS group didn’t even know that the truck driver had changed during the trip - we were talking to the driver while they had no idea. Again beware. Also, they had no GPS tracking on the truck.
5.On the day of unloading, while the goods reached my apartment by 12 noon, the unloading team reached in installments - 2 at 11:30, 2 more at 2 pm, and finally 4 more at 3 pm. Then in a hurry, they unloaded my goods in four hours. They don’t bother about customer inconvenience at any stage. BEWARE.
6.Now to broken goods: my dining table was broken and I noticed this immediately while unloading polish on many of the furniture items was also spoilt. because they unloaded till late, we couldn’t open many of the cartons - we found later many crystal curios broken due to poor packing and also quite a few crockery pieces are broken.
I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING THEM WITH PICTURES AND DOCUMENTS FROM THE DAY THE GOODS ARRIVED - We had paid 45, 000/- as insurance premium to them - but they refuse to do proper settlement. They are offering us a paltry sum to replace my dining table which is still lying in a broken state. We need to buy a completely new dining table set they are simply not bothered.
While I am lucky that this transfer is through my company and hence we have still not paid them, but this is to alert all other customers - AVOID DRS GROUP AT ALL COSTS - never go with them!!!! They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and completely customer-unfriendly - they are likely to cause severe stress to your health and damage your goods. DO NOT USE AGARWAL PACKERS DRS Group.
