Did I say it was expensive? Oh well you can't blame it on the restaurant...situated in the happening area of Koramangla, its bound to be expensive. By the way expensive is a comparative term and I don't want to draw a comparison amongst the most expensive restaurant and Aangan. I would compare aangan with itself as in its food and say that you get the same old punjabi taste which a lot of north Indians miss in Bangalore however at what cost? Yes its costly as compared to its service and quality of food.

I always get a feeling that these kind of restaurants in Bangalore give you something very similar that you can get in an average restaurant in Delhi and the very difference is price. For a Dal makhani plate in delhi will cost you anywhere between 25-60 bucks in a local restaurant, however the Inflations seems to work stroingly for Bangalore where it starts at 60.

Anyways, my reccomendation for all those who like north Indian punjabi food, this can be one time stop though not a place to relish over and over again.

And by the way parking would be one problem that you'll face. Can't help its koramangla! As well don't try to find too much ambience in the Aangan. As its funnily located over a Kids shop :)

And word of caution, if you decide to get some food packed from here, please check all the take away order details, there can be something missing, not itentionally, may be by mistake ;)

You get the good old punjabi taste, for a New price, don't Mistake New for Low ;) :)
