I feel that it is Irving getting it done. There are occasions set out from the get-go in the book that tie back in toward the end perfectly. I completed this book on the transport from Mont st. Michelle and wept hysterically. The characters were sufficiently trustworthy yet still extended the limits of what you would anticipate.

Michelle and wept hysterically. The characters were sufficiently trustworthy yet still extended the limits of what you would anticipate.
This book is exceptional. It's brimming with one of a kind and fascinating characters, yet what made it truly emerge for me was the way it made me chuckle. At no other time, and not since, have I snickered as frequently or as noisily while perusing a book.
