We visited Veegaland as a day out for my daughter, nieces, and other guests.
The quality of the attractions, rides and the whole developments itself is to the highest standards.
Being a holiday, though there was plenty of uniformed school groups visiting the place, the arrangements in place ensured a memorable experience for us who were there right from opening at 10:30 to closing of the park for the day at 19:00.
Plus points:
The entire sprawling campus is well maintained. Not a speck of litter - a welcome change in India.
One fare at the gate and it takes care of unlimited rides / shows in all attractions.
Friendly and competent staff. Plenty of look-out men/women to guide and to keep an eye.
Good signages
Not so expensive souvenirs
Clear road signs from nearby places.
Points to note:
- Outside food cannot be brought in. However there and a few canteens serving the same menu. If it doesnt cater to the tastebuds of overseas guests, an alternative is to take Lays potato chips etc. sold in the Kiosks.
People visiting Kerala will surely have backwater houseboat rides and the beach. A Visit to the Veegaland will add another dimension to the pleasure content of the Kerala Trip.
