SUNRISE SPORTS is nothing but a crappy store with crappy service.

I and my friends recently bought 3 table tennis bats(Butterfly Jonyer) and rubbers (Buterfly Sriver) at a cost of 3000 INR per head. After a couple of days of playing, one of my rubbers developed a bubble. The next day, the top sheet of the other side came out. I informed my friends, and they had the same issue; all rubbers either developed bubbles or the top sheet came out. We have been playing table tennis for a long time and have not seen anything like this before even in pre made rackets. Butterfly Sriver is a classic TT rubber and never supposed to behave like this.

We took the rubbers to the store and demanded a refund but the owner refused to accept any responsibility. He said products once sold cannot be returned and we must have done something to make the rubbers developed bubbles! Why, in God's name, would a sane person destroy a 1800 INR rubber? And this is not one single rubber, ALL the rubbers we bought had the same problem.

After some arguing, the owner accepted that it was possible that the rubbers might be defective but he cannot replace or refund them. The best he can do is offer us a 50% discount on any other rubber in his store! Realizing that it was pointless arguing with an idiot, we came back and hence each of us were poorer by 1800 INR.

Butterfly Sriver is an extremely reputed brand and lasts for at least 5 playing years; ours did not last even 5 days. No idea how long the bat would last though.

It really hurts losing money over defective TT rubber as they are quite expensive plus it is not worth the aggravation. I am writing this as I do not want other TT enthusiasts in Delhi/NCR to suffer a similar fate.

Guys, if you are from Delhi/NCR and want good quality TT rackets and rubbers, stay away from SUNRISE SPORTS. Go to SADAR BAZAAR; you will find a variety of excellent quality rackets and rubbers at a bargain price. Wish we had bought from Sadar Bazaar in the first place.
