Sacred Chants is a series of Albums released by Kosmic Music.The Voume-1 was released in 2002 and since then six more volumes have been released till date.These seven volumes contain sixty and odd chants and stotras from Upanishads/Puranas and other Hindu scriptures. The Albums are arranged around different themes.

While Volume-1 is for peace/prosperity and enlightenement, Volume-2 is for courage/confidence and limitless joy. Similarly Volume-4 contains stotras for knowledge and success, while the latest Volume-7 is a compilation of stotras seeking forgiveness and to experience unconditional love.These volumes contain almost all important stotras starting from Shivastakam/Krishnastakam/Shiva Tandav Stotram to selections from Vedic Sukthas. The inlay card running from Volume-1 to Volume-5 contains the text of the Stotras in Devanagari as well as their brief meaning in English. However, the later two volumes lack this useful content. Though a number of Albums are available on different Stotras and Chants, this series is way different from others .The flawless chanting of Sanskrit Shlokas are accompanied by Digital Music which blends into the vocal in unison to create a unique ambience.

The pronunciation of the Singers are impeccable .Most of the compositions are soothing and can be appreciated by listeners of any genres of Music.
