Rajrappa Temple in small town Ramgarh near to Jharkhand capital Ranchi is a famous religious place. The temple of Chinnamasta( headless), is located here. It is a very very popular religious place and people visit this place from various town of Jharkhand and Bihar. Maa Chinnamasta is another avtar of Goddess Kali.
Located in the conjuction of river Bheda and Damodar, this place is also considered to be a ideal picnic spot in this area. I liked the scenic beauty of this place. Though, it is most important as a religious place and devotees come in large numbers with desires in mind.
It is told that, Maa chinna masta completes the wishes who come here with any desire in mind. We have also went to Nav Durga temple and Lotus temple in adjacent to this temple.
As it is a conjunction of two rivers, this place is formed rock and a great place to explore the nature from the height of 20-25 ft where the temple is located.
While we visited the temple, a see a large gathering of people for marriage and mundan. It is quite usual in all temples in India.As it is a temple of Goddess Kali, sacrificing goat is a ritual here like any other Kali temples.
If you are a lover of nature, do not forget to take your camera and get some nice clicks of the landscape which is quite beautiful.
I enjoyed the Rajrappa tour and it is a good place to visit. Thanks to loving father of my friend( my uncle) who made all arrangements for us while we made this trip from Dhanabad.
It was my first trip with my spouse and I will remember it for ever.
