Nice jain tirath. Review on Pavapuri Tirth, Sirohi

Pavapuri tirth dham is situated at Pavada around 22km away from Sirohoi distt of Rajasthan on NH 8 Kandla Delhi high way. The tirth is purely attribute to the jainism but it is open for all communities, any types of pilgrims can join, contribute or can visit to have blessings.

The foundation of this was kept by Jainism KP Sanghvi groups in 1998 with in few years beautifully its construction was completed. Now it is functioning as a KP Sanghvi groups trust. The land of its campus is 500 acres which is located in aravali mountain range.

In this dham a beautiful temple is built which is very good example of jain architecture and culture. The tirth is dedicated to jain lord Shankheshwar Parshvanath. The idol is in 69 inches height which looks very nice and so attractive that it gives full peace and touches the internal soul. There other idols of lord Shiva and jain tirthakaes. But main is lord Parshvanath posture.

There also is a pond in the tirth complex in which rain water is collected for animals purpose and other uses. There is a animal welfare center(gaushala) where 4 to 5000 cows and other animals like buffalo and donkeys are feeded and  being taken care of them.

There are total 14 jain temples in the Sirohi. This tirth is the richest among all. There is also a dharamshala in the complex area where pilgrims can stay if place is available. Hotels are available in the city Sirohi in reasonable rates to stay for devotees and tourists. We can get buses or texi from the city to pavapuri tirth. There are around 400 staff and other employees are working at campus for proper maintenance and functioning of the system. There is a railway station and bus depot in the city. Devotees who comes from out side they can easily reach here by bus or train.

The other attraction of the city are mahadev temple, bharu jain temple, sarswati, bamanvadji, zadoli, swaminathji, chandrawati devi, ajari tirth, Vishnu temple, ambeshwari mandir etc. These all are holy places for the pilgrims. They can go around and have the blessings of bhagwan. I visited the tirth in the month of Feb this year. I enjoyed to see their management, hospitality and darshan of bhagawan and I desire to visit again with in short time.
