I wanted to see certain important temples in south with a travel operator. After searching many tour operators sights, I selected this operator because this particular tour program suited my requirement. so I contacted their BANGALORE office as the tour stats from BANGALORE.,
Its a ten day tour program from BANGALORE costing RS 10207 per head(IT IS INCLUSIVE OF TRANSPORT, ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD). I sent a DD for RS 20400 for me and my wife. we reached BANGALORE from HYDERABAD on 11th oct (this tour starts from BANGALORE on 2nd, 12th and 22nd every month) our journey started on 12th morning from RAJMAHAL hotel at 6'o clock in the morning by A/c bus, though the bus capacity is 34 we were only 25 people.The following places we have covered.
HOGENAKKAL, TIRUVANNAMALAI(H), SRIRANGAM, TIRCHY(H), TANJAVUR, RAMESWARAM(H), MADURAI, PALANI(H),
KODAIKANAL(H), SUCHINDRUM, KANKYAKUMARI(H), KOVALAM, TRIVANDRUM(ANANTHA SAYANA PADMANABHA TEMPLE)(H), COCHIN(H), GURUVAYUR(H), MALAPUZHA(H),
The journey was only during daytime, i was told only daytime journey is their policy.We were very comfortable during the entire journey as the A/C was very good in the bus and the the driver(PRAKASH) was very efficient as he rarely applied sudden breaks.They were giving us breakfast, lunch and dinner in hotels on the way and in hotels we stayed. the accommodation was good baring at one or two places.food was also good at almost all the places.the entrance tickets and darshan tickets cost were born by Nirmala travels.we were entertained during journey time with a lot of entertainment programs like memory games, passing the bottle and some quiz competitions.
The most important aspect is time management, here I should specially mention the name of the tour manager Mr SHIVANAND he was very efficient and courteous.His time management, man management and finance management were really commendable.he used look after each and everybody very efficiently.He used to manage fast darshan at almost all the temples in T.N.He used to accompany us everywhere and he used to take care of old and children alike.
The only simple drawback is they used to wake us you up at 5am and some times at 4am but they were not supplying bed coffee/tea witch is not a difficult thing nowadays. I have given advise about this in my feedback.at certain places walking distance is more from parking place to place of visit , it is very difficult for old people to walk, there it is better if they provide local transport at their cost or at the cost of tourist(should also be optional).
