This is a Complaint & Instance about the miscommunication by ‘Meru’ Cab Booking Service(01414422442) #
On 18th Jan’16 - 10:46am, I had called on 01414422442 to book a cab from Bapu Nagar to Sitapura Industrial Area for an Urgent requirement. City=Jaipur. Since I haven’t used Cabs in past, I had specified the representative the Route/Time involved and asked of the Cost involved & Choices available to me. He specified that Rs.900+taxes package was available to suit my needs. I inquired if there was any other Cost Option available as my entire route would be under 50 kms, he told me that there’s nothing less than the 900 package and next Package would be higher. Although the stated minimum package seemed unreasonably high to me, but since I was hard-pressed for a Dedicated Ride & out of inexperience, I chose ‘Rs.900+Taxes’ upon being asked to decide on the Package.
With no action from Meru Cabs, I again called Customer Support on 22nd Jan’16 & questioned their inaction over the matter. I was taken aback upon being informed that there was no registered complaint. I then again lodged a Complaint(Number=92475) and was reluctantly emailed the Receipt. Upon getting the Receipt, It was clear that I had been a Victim of not only ‘wrong communication by Meru Booking Agent(on 4422442). The bill is attached!
