Hi guys I am introduced mahi bajaj sagar dam which famous as mahi dam in rajasthan. The work of construction was started on mahi river in 1972. The main reason for built this dam is cheif minister haridevji joshi who belong to banswara. in the udaipur division this is the bigest dam whose situated at banswara. this dam has sixteen gates which journally open when water reaches over its level.
The water of this dam used banswara and dungarpur district and gujrat. from water of this dam two places has created electricity and supply to kota and banswara. this dam is very useful for farmer for agriculture sector. its called wagad ki ganga. near the dam many sight scene and any being greenness. near the dam sight scene known as chacha-kota. from this dam banswara is known as city of 100 Islands. this is reasons for I like it. I am going many time on this spot and specially in rainy season.
I really enjoy at this place. near the dam banswara city situated there we get many hotel and restaurants. I invite to come all viewer and watch this place specially in rain and enjoy the greenness of our district .
