Please never go anywhere near this place, especially with your kids. I was one of those gullible Chennai ate who went to this place with my two kids last Monday 4th May 2009. Woah.! What an experience...! The place is dilated with wrecks and is absolutely un-safe.
They charge you for all the rides upfront when you enter the place. (I refuse to acknowledge the place to be an amusement park). The only ride you would experience is the ride thatMGM has taken you to scam your money. All the rides are either "under maintenance"or you will find the operators ominously missing. The rides which are operational are a joke.
Those would be the merry-go-round types that you can find and experience in the Marina beach for like 10 bucks for 5 full minutes.The rides (if you may call them...) are like, operated for 45 seconds. You willbe amazed at the audacity. They charge you almost double for any eatable or water or anything that you may try and buy inside the premises.
They charge you for using the water-rides..! You need to use their swimming costumes in the pretext of hygiene! These attract a deposit and a rental charge. They are usedby the other tourists and are just drip dried. (So much for hygiene…) I have the photographs of the whole fiasco called the Dizzee/Dizzy world. (You would find any self-respecting Chennaiate ominously missing in the place!) I feel responsible as a Chennaiate to make the visitors aware of these scam dens. And hence this review.!
