Moisturising is one of the key features for good skin is what we hear everybody say but do we
actually know how the moisturisers available wotk on our epidermis(skin). We have either one of
the following skin types:
-Normal (smooth,radiant,no pores,soft)
-Oily (Oily sheen,open pores,acne,blackheads,sticky)
-Combination (oily T-zone,blackheads,dry cheeks,open pores)
-Dry (rough skin texture, chapped skin, fine lines)
All of these can benefit from one single moisturiser that my family has been using for the past
many years, "Lakme Peach Milk Moisturiser with Vitamin E". My dad has dry skin, mom has normal
skin, brother has super oily skin whereas I have combination skin (Wow! What a family). All of us
are more than happy with this light moisturiser.
It has natural peach milk that easily soaks into the skin and softens it. This imparts radiance
& glow in ur skin. Vitamin E is a well-known anti-oxidant that protects ur skin against free
radicals generated through wrong diet, pollution, dust. It also imparts a lovely shine.
To explain a bit more let me tell u that people with oily and combination skin often think that
they do need to moisturise but the truth is that though their skin does nod need anymore oil
however it still needs water i.e. it needs to get hydrated and thats exactly what it does. Its
light & therefore hydrates the skin without making it oily. Those with dry skin can also benefit
from it by only applying a bit more than usual. Those with normal skin, rush & buy this now.
The best part is that its consistency is just perfect for any season. Its in a lotion form and
is very easy to spread. Its available in a light pink shade with a invigorating smell. Its quite
cheap too, 120 ml is priced at Rs 82.
Lakme products have always lived upto the standards & this product will not disappoint u at all.
Everyday use of this product will keep ur skin soft and supple. Not only this it will also
enhance ur complexion, tone ur skin and make it soft. No, no, it is not a fairness lotion, toner
or an exfoliant.
Why I said this was bcoz when we hydarte our skin becomes tender and soft which makes it easy for the skin itself to shed dead skin cells whenever u bathe (even with a soap). When the skin will
get rid of these cells on a regular basis and alongwith this will get hydartion for the newly surfaced skin cells, ur skin will surely have a better complexion and more refined skin pores.U will also notice that the sun will cause less damage to ur skin. Ofcourse this is not a substitute for a sunscreen(which is a must) but hydarted skin can tolerate the sun better than dry skin.
I'm sure u must be wondering why have I used the term "Hydrated" so much instead of "Moisturised" Simply bcoz this has an appropriate balance of water and oil, moisturisers coat the
skin and prevent water/oil loss but at the same can clog ur pores and are certainly not good
for the oily skins. But as this has high water content so it penetrtes the skin & quenches its
thirst & every skin type can benefit from it.
I hope U decide to give this product a try atleast once & I'm sure u will not need any other
cream/lotion.
