Girnar parvat is one of the famous place to be visited in Junagadh.
Lord Dattatreya foot prints are situated on top of the mountain. You need to climb 10000 steps to reach at the last peak.
One need to start early in the morning approx at 4: 00AM so that you reach your destiny peacefully.
We started at 9: 00AM and lost the toss.I have given up at 3000 steps.
Finally we decided reach the first peak and return back. Somehow we manged to touch the first peak of Amba mata.
After the darshan, we all were again charged up to climb the second peak of Gorakshanath, and we did it.
Now at 13: 00HR, now comes a question whether to climb the last peak.
Now after waiting for half an hour on second peak, we were re-energise to climb the last peak of Lord Dattatreya.
At 14: 00HRs we managed to climb the peak and were blessed with the darshan.
We started downwards and reached at the gate by 21: 45HRs.
While climbing you may not need to carry any eatables or drinks, you will find various shops serving beverages, eatables and water on the way ahead to the destination.
This was a dream come true journey.
