The first thing that comes in my mind while buying a JioFi M2 device is to make my mobile free from strain. Yes, I have purchased this router because I travel a lot. And, I don't want my mobile to work as router. I have purchased this router a week ago and from Day 1 it has impressed me. I am on 1Gb data plan and signal over here is good. I have checked it several times and it does provide me good strength in internet connectivity. Although at times I can see drop in internet speed but I'm satisfied because most of the times I write on my blog. The JioFi router works in all the 3 bands recommended for optimal performance. Most of the the times it works well, Unless you see green signal you won't get good speed. The connection reliability is more than what a user can expect with good throttling speed. Just a weaker part to be described poor battery backup. I expect around 9-10 hours of usage with two device connected but from Day 3 the battery started going below 20% in 4-5 hours which I did not like actually.
The Service & support is good with 1 year of limited warranty on Jio device and 6 months for battery and charger. I hope it would last a year for the battery to rip off completely(if used daily). I also assume that the JIO store will come up with higher maH battery in coming upgrade. I feel it's a good device and alternative to mobile hotspot.
