Iskcon is located in Rajajinagar, a busy area of Bangalore city. The architecture is beautiful and the temple has huge  space for various activities.

This is not just a temple, but  also a cultural centre. It has auditoriums where lectures are conducted. I have attended several lectures in Iskcon.

They are most of the times spiritual ones and the ones useful for students. I have been to Iskcon with my daughter many times, for lectures as well as when there used to inter-school competitions in which she used to participate.

The temple has the idol of radha and krishna, hindu gods. Krishna who preached the meaning of'dharma' and'karma' to the whole world and also mentioned that a person is born with with  no religion and the religion comes with the kind of work he does. Iskcon also has a program called akshaya patra through which they send food for government schools and jails.

They also distribute prasada in the temple around afternoon. There is a restaurant inside the temple near the auditorium. So, if you are planning to stay in the temple for a long time, you can go here to eat. it is hygenic as well. I recommend this place to anyone visiting bangalore.

There is an ill belief that pairs who go to iskcon before marriage break up soon after they come back. They say this as Krishna and Radha loved each other and later were parted when krishna had to leave gokul. Rumors apart. This is a wonderful place to visit.
