Last saturday, I bought a new hunk (Sports Red) with LED tail lights, Digital display, Double Disks. The Looks are awesome in its colour and it is pretty big in size which would turn many heads. When you push the self start button the engine comes to life with an appealing gruff and settles into a smooth sound. You feel the power of the bike the moment you start riding in Ist three gears. The Front end feels a little heavy when compared to unicorn and gs 150r but this gives you confidence to hit the corners.the bike feels sure footed in corners and doesn't show any signs of slipping.
The gear shifts are not smooth as a unicorn's or gs 150r's but I think it will become more smoother after two services. I've not crossed 45km/hr mark and 5000 rpm as recommended by the showroom people during running in but felt the urge to go past the limit many times. In-gear acceleration is one of the best in its class which allows you to surge pass others.The bike is very comfortable for rider and pillion.The bike has only crossed 150kms and i've not checked mileage figures.will update on it later.
After the Ist service, the bike has now become smoother.The gears are now butter smooth.The mileage now I am getting is 50km/ltr. But now I am facing an issue with the bike . There some queeck queeck kind of noise from the rear suspension. I don't know what it is ?.Znd yesterday I noticed a problem. The bike refuses to start and if it does start the rpm reading increases(throttle increases) without turning the accelerator. so I tuned the carburettor. And now the problem seemed rectified.
I think someone deliberately changed the tuning. No other issues.
