I have been to this temple for several times with my family. The drive is around 2hrs from bangalore and you can reach earlier if there is less traffic!
You have to take a diversion near dabaspet, which is on the way to tumkur.You can even go by train and get down in dabaspet railway station, hire an auto to the temple.
The main deity worshipped here is the hindu godess lakshmi who is known to provide wealth!They say that, anybody who visits this temple will come back with their prayers answered.
This godess is known for solving health, wealth, kids and family issues.You will be provided lunch in the afternoon for free. So, you don't have to worry about carrying the food.
The place is very peaceful and calm and you can spend around 2-3 hours in and around the temple.There is place for accomodation if you have to stay there and attend the puja early in the morning.I recommend this place to everyone
