This review is for Faber Glass cook top CRYSTAL 30 CT, having black glass top.
I bought Faber 3 burner glass cook top along with 910 glass chimney in an offer. Firstly the the cook top came with 1 knob broken. This took good 2 weeks to get it replaced from Faber service center after repeated followup. A week later, when my wife was preparing morning breakfast on the cook top, the glass broke into pieces with a large sound. Fortunately she missed the glass hitting her. But my home had glass pieces scattered around the whole place.
This is really worrying if someone is planning to go for a glass cook top.The glass is not toughened one and is easy to be broken.
I am still following up with Faber service and haven't got any solution or answer to it. They keep on saying that this is the first time it has happened.
I am calling Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni / Mr. Santosh More at their head office in Pune. They have no clue on what to do.
Please take a note of the incident, some body might get hurt because of this hopeless product.
This is THE WORST SO CALLED ITALIAN COMPANY MUNCHING MONEY OF INDIAN CUSTOMERS. Please stay away from their products.
I have demanded to return my money and take this product back. As getting a replacement of glass is like trying to test the product for getting broken again and we might not be lucky next time(might get hurt).
