DIT Rocks!!!!!!!!. Review on Dehradun Institute of Technology, Dehradun

Dehradun Institute Of Technology (DIT) is an engineering Institute in Dehradun , Uttrakhand.

DIT was established in 1998 by the Unison Group.Having passed out from DIT myself, I feel really happy and excited to write a review about it..It brings back very pleasant memories of my college days.:-)

M Tech(Thermal Engineering)M Tech(Computer Science & Engineering)DIT campus is on Dehradun Mussoorie Road, approximately 10k.m. from the main city and is just about 18-20 k.m far fromMussoorie(The Queen Of Hills). It can be conveniently reached by both, private vehicle as well as by publictransport(Local Bus).

DIT has a beautiful and well equipped campus and provides a satisfactory hostel facility..

The placements are good..Many well-known companies recruit from DIT..

Even I was placed in my company(a very reputed IT firm) through campus recruitment program in DIT...Though I was the last one to be placed on the very last day of my college!!!!!!! This reminds me of a very funny n cute incident which I would like to share with you all...

As I told, I was placed in my company on the last day of my college...Obviously I was tensed..My interviewer was asking me many questions and I replied him satisfactorily. Then he asked one last question.He asked.."Juhi, everything is fine, but I wonder how can you guys ever study in such a beautiful and romantic environment?"

I could not help laughing...Talking of the environment....its simply awsome!!!Its just 20 km short of Mussoorie..Whenever it snows in mussoorie , almost everybody is there...and you have to be there to experiance it youself..The place looks like heaven, ....Trust me on this one..Ill try my best to arrange and post some pics .

The faculty is also good.Some teachers are very experienced and guide very well .The communication network among students and administration is not excellent, but I have heard that its bridging up fast...The library is also very well equipped with loads of books(In my college time I never bought any book...always made optimum use of library!!!!:-) )Alltogether , its the best place to be in..and the environment is mesmerizing..I am thankful to my college for shaping up my career in such a beautiful way!!!!
