I own Chevrolet Optra Magnum LT diesel. I almost drove 60k kms with this car. I have very good experience with this companion.
Features:
ABS, Airbags, Mono chrome body, heavy doors, heavy hood, power windows, central lock, Arm rest, alloy wheels etc., Updated the 6 way CD audio with after market 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth.
Comfort: Optra Magnum gives you enough leg room both rear and front seats. You will feel like you are in executive class car. The seats are premium leather like fabric. Head room in the rear is simply awesome. Rear armrest/cup holder provides more continence. Comfort is majorly provided by the strut and spring suspensions both rear and front. Small holes and humps can be crossed without any considerations. Inwards in the car never feel anything when ran over all these. Bumper to Bumper length of the car is around 4.5 meters and is equal to Tavera:)
Mileage: You can expect 10-12 KMPL with in city limits. On highway with decent speed of 100-120KMPH, you will get 15-16KMPL. If premium diesel used, we may get additional 3kmpl.
Reliability: Vehicle is highly reliable. It never let us down. Build quality is awesome. We cant see any low quality plastic usage inside the car. Say no to rattling noise. Tubeless Tyre gives you more confident. Being large size wheel, it adds value to the comfort. Braking is excellent as all the four wheels have Disc brake system. Steering wheel is Hydraulic powered which gives you confident even after reaching 180KMPH. You don't even feel the speed even at very higher speeds.
The Engine is 120 BHP powered 2L engine. It has torque of 300NM. This engine is equal to any Indian SUVs. It looks very calm, but when it comes to the job it serves neatly. Very potential car and it gives lot of driving pleasure.
Maintenance: When it comes to maintenance, the spare parts are costly. Also the labor charge is high with GM. But once in 10k kms, Rs.4500 has to be sent on General service. It has engine oil capacity of 7l:)
Verdict: Awesome C+ sedan, meant of driving and comfort enthusiasts. Not for frequent city drives. Totally Happy with car.
