Bought it on Sep 07, when it was still a new product, at a decent price at that time, equivalent to INR 14000, thanks to USD being low. Has been great till then. Wonderful pics from aircraft, good zoom, even caught a full speed jet on the cam. Good for nature photography.
Pros - Macro works super cool!
works wonders
Cons - In low light conditions, anti shake is a problem, ie not so good on stabilisation.
- High ISO, does not work well
Another good thing is that the design is meant to shield the LCD. The shape and positioning of the buttons are intuitive and easy to use. Also not like Sony - can use any rechargeable battrey from the market. Can add extra lens and external flash.
I specially like the manual mode and movie too. Good fps
Earlier I was blaming my battery for not retaining charge, got to know that you gotta replace the NimAH cells once a year:). But my flash has stopped firing, thats a new problem.

I have been using this heavily for a real long time now, and its just wonderful. Now that I am more at ease with the manual mode, there are very few occasions that I actually miss the flash. This one is wonderful for nature photography!

*Accidentally hit the front of the flash, and it has started to work again, must have been some loose cnxn so far. Now I am very happy.
