A few weeks ago, me with my friends visited to Bodh Gaya. It is one of the good place where I have visited till now. We went there by car. There is also facility of train or bus but, we prefered to go by car. We felt quite relaxed and there was no any harassment during the journey. We started our journey in the morning and it took four hours to reach our destination point. There was tight security check in all around the temple. It was so because there was a terrorist attack a few years ago. The internal sculptures and the walls were well designed and it was quite peace and very calm place. The floor was very very clean. We had seen the tree where Lord Buddha had got enlightenment. It was fenced by bricks all around. We were allowed to look through the holes made between the bricks.
After that, we went to see Lord Buddha statue which located in nearby the main temple. It size is very big. I heard someone saying that this statue is 80ft long. I was quite amazed after seeing it. We went to many temples which was near the main temple like Thailand temple, Japan temple, Bhutan temple and so on. It was only the name that looked quite unique. Otherwise, all the temples were same. Only the external design was changed according to the respective names of the temple.
We enjoyed a lot. It took 5-6 hours to visit all the temples. And after that we returned back to our home. I recommend you all to visit this amazing place atleast once in lifetime.
