I am a student of Birla College, Kalyan and I can tell you that it is the top college in Kalyan
Though it lags in a few departments.I am breaking down this review in to parts viz- the things that I like and the one's that I don't like.
First the things that I don't like-
The administration in the education department is good but in terms of office work i.e. the office staff who handles the official works like filling scholarships and other documentation related people are the worst. They are rude enough to shout at the students and drive them away when the students come for inquires.
There is no proper seminar hall for JUNIOR COLLEGE. And that's all FOLKS. THIS IS THE ONLY THING I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS COLLEGE. I would like to share one of my personal experiences.When I was a fresher and wanted to know about the details about the scholarship form, I went to the college administration office and the man their was simply refusing to help. I asked him for help politely and in term he started shouting at me. It was a horrible experience.
Now the things that I love_
There are a lot of extra curricular programs held.
The teachers and professors here are awesome.
I Academic programs are also good.
And all in all I would say that it is a good college with a nice reputation and if you will pass 10th this year and and u live in Kalyan or nearby this is the best u will get.
