Awesome Aramex. Review on Aramex

Hi Guys,

I was going through all the reviews of Aramex in the site and found that its not fair that people are calling this service crappy or not worth a try. I dont know the history of Aramex because I never heard about, if you asked me 3 days before. I am no Aramex Fan, not a regular courier person. I promised the person who collected my courier from 50/1 Chinar Apts, NR Agriculture College, K B Joshi RD, Shivaji Nagar, Pune - 411005 that if I am happy I gonna write a good review about it.

Okay Now let me get to the point. I had to sent an Ipod Touch( Cost Rs 15000) from Pune to Amity University Noida. So what is the big deal?

Four days I talked to different courier service . First to reject was DTDC as they dont have service in Sector 125, Noida. They said there is not sector 125 in Noida. Then people suggested since its an electonic item try Blue Dart. They asked me to get the sales tax form of UP even the watch man started suggesting me to ask my friend in Noida to sent it to me then I will sent the ipod . Next tried First Flight. The person who was suppose to collect was not there the whole day and I though I wont go with it. Next called Fed Ex, said I have to remove the battery. They have the most awesome customer service . Talked to me for 10 min why they wont accept apple products and tablets. Then UPS. TNT( wont take electronic goods) . I didnt want to go with Professional Couriers as they are too good in handling electronic goods( Never try professional for electronic goods) .The last option was Govt Post Office, which I dont know how many people will trust sending a 15 K worth Ipod Touch.

Okay finally I got to know about Aramex from ebay listing. People were suggesting this service for sending electronic goods . Called up the customer service, Phone got disconnected every 2 min . Finally gave them the address. They said they can come and collect it, which I didn't want to do, so I went to the head office in Shivaji Nagar. I asked them if they do take electronic goods, they said yes. Then I asked them to check the destination address. I dont know if he checked it . But he said they will deliver:).

Okay now comes the best part . I gave the courier to them around 3 O clock, though the website says 10 pm . Next day 4 it reached Amity University, which half of the Indian courier services don't even reach.

The only thing that I didn't found that updated was the customer service in Mumbai . They asked me to wait till Monday.

So the only negative is the Customer Service in Mumbai. I guess other numbers wont work.

Positives are express delivery and acceptance of electronic goods.

I want to thank Aramex for the service that they have given. I hope you will change the perspective of the customers and make them more happy . I am sorry for other reviewers for what happen with their parcels sent through this courier
