99acres services are pathetic!!!!. Review on 99Acres

This review is based upon my personal experience about 99acres services(Platinum-package), along with recommended solutions which people can use if they are also facing the same problem what I faced while using it.

1.Misleading info about Service package:  company offer 3 types of service package with 3 months validity. it's actually 3 months validity to list a property for 61 days only.

Recommendation: Price of the Basic pack is 50% less than Platinum Pack and it includes everything needed except platinum tag on your ad.

When you will Buy even Basic service, your listing will be shown on top as new ads placed on top by default.

Most of the time, search page fetch property results not more than one page. so even when my listing will get older with time, it will remain on the first page only.

2.Poor Customer support: for all customer questions, they give a master-key answer: AS PER ORGANIZATION POLICY. They don't even know anything about their own organization policy, neither they can produce any supportive evidences. In short they will make you feel that customers who has paid for their services are stupid enough and worth of getting such kind of humiliating treatment to remind them clearly, who is the BOSS?

3.Website Crash: - If you upload more than 10 pics at one time, the website will crash and no pics will get uploaded. Recommendation:   please save your work after uploading 5 pics at one time

4.Picture cropping tool is faulty: - many times it's not allowing to capture the full picture. it has limitation on the frame. Sometimes, this gives very poor view of the property.

Recommendation:   Upload all your pics on Google drive and share the link of property-album through email or URL to the prospective buyer/sellers who have shown interest in the property

5.Messaging tool has the limitation of 500 characters: If user wants to message to prospective buyer/seller than it must be within 500 characters.

Recommendation: copy that email id and send email to buyer/seller through your email

6.Ad Content formatting Problem: when I write and saved ad content for my property I found the format of the content has been changed automatically. Some small letters become capital letter and vice-versa. this looks very bad.

7.Funny Justification: They can delete, any of property pics on the ground of  AS PER ORGANIZATION POLICY. Don't expect valid reason from them. They are the BOSS and it's either their way or highway. customer paid for the services is customer's mistake only.

8.BACKUP: Once service-pack will expire, all property pics and ad content will be get deleted without notifying the user. Recommendation: Always keep backup of ad content which you have created along with property pics in your laptop to avoid re-work from scratch.

9.Fake Contacts: in 2 months platinum listing, I received 23 responses. 5 out of 23 contacts have fake email ids. which means 20%+ contacts which I received are fake.

99acres ask website visitors to submit their contact no, if someone want to see the contact detail for a property.Often, 99acres do not validate, prospective buyers and understand their requirements before sharing their contact no to all agents and broker of that area, as a qualified lead for a sales opportunity. When Brokers and agents call on those numbers, they will find it's useless lead. Most of the agents and brokers are paying hefty amount to 99acres to get these useless leads.

10.Honey-Trap: - As I bought platinum service-package, immediately sales person tried to push me to take personal assisted services worth of 7000 which is available at heavy discounted price of just 5k if I booked it now. Recommendation: ALWAYS BUY BASIC PACK ONLY!(if you have to)

11.Bonus Tip: on 99acre placing a property ads is free but it will be visible to everyone, only when paid services has been taken. Placing your ads on nobroker.com,  propertywala.com and sulekha.com for free is a good idea as here your property ad will be visible to everyone for free. I got few genuine leads from nobroker.com and propertywala.com.
