Am a great lover of books..in fact am fascinated by almost everything but accounts on paper. Wish I had more time to write much, but i've got my forensic exam tommorow, so here goes my brief but lovely list:
1.Love Story by Erich Segal-It's absolutely wonderful..If anybody ever happened not to believe in love, this story is going to make him love being in love..anybody who's ever been in true love will know what i'm talking about when they do read this marvel!
2.Where the red fern grows by Wilson Rawles-the story of a boy n his two dogs...the simplicity , the easy writing and most of all, the bond of love that transcends one's being man or beast is immensely beautiful.This has been one of my favorites for many many years...
3.Doctors by Erich Segal-No, i'm not a segal maniac, but this book is the nearest you can come to the trauma, the hardship, the dilemmas a doctor comes across during his graduation...trust me, most of it is true for very doctor you came across..i should know, coz I AM a medical student!
4.Arms and the Man by G.B.Shaw-It's a story , nay a play, set in the wonderful medieval times..the truth of war, the shattering of the romantic , but hollow ideals of a young but beautiful girl, and the absolute wit of the invincible Shaw, will take your breath away.
5.The Last Leaf by Saki-a short story..but will not fail to enchant you.It's about a life that hangs on a thread, nay a leaf.How an otherwise a failure of an artist paints his long-dreamed-of masterpiece, a painting of love.
6.The Pool by Ruskin Bond-another short story..captures the joy of childhood and its touching memories years later.
7.The Bachelor of Arts by R.K.Narayanan-It'll work wonders to the conscience of those faithful readers whose imagination was stretched too far by Sidney Sheldon and co.The mere reflection of true life in this masterpiece will blow your mind away.By the time you finish this work, you'll realize you know these people from your real life!
8.You.inc-This book should take you to new heights of self confidence and achievement.
9.Harry potter series-I wonder why many people choose to supress the child in them, these pieces of work by jk Rowling have fascinated me, and held me, and often made me wish I was a student at hogwarts too..
