myself Nirmal Toor from Patiala. I see this movie first day, first show in phul theatre in Patiala. I am very happy because I got the reward of money. this movie simply tells wat is happening in our life. this movie tell story of each person who fall in true love & after that wat problems they can face. this movie also shows how can u prove your parents that you people are doing nothing wrong if u trualy love someone. each actor gives his best in this movie, specialy jimmy shergill. he is cool dude. may be he is future of punjabi cinema. secondly music og this movie, specially heer song. this song is also tell the truth of situation of girls. I really like that song. I hav one doubt in this film. othing big issue but I am very shocked when I see jimmy without helmat in chandigarh because helmat is must in chandigarh. otherwise this is really a fantastic movie & I request all indian who understand punjabi language must see that movie.

Yaraan naal bahaaran is a punjabi film, with a great love story. It's a simple love story no crying rona dhona, like a regular hindi film starring srk. Yaaran naal baharaan stars

JImmy shergill, juhi babbar( raj babbar's daughter), raj babbar, anupam kher,gurpreet ghuggi. The film is directed by manmohan singh who in the past has directed two punjabi films starring harbhajan mann jee aaya nau and asa nau mann watna da, both were superhits, the result of those movies was that yash chopra is taking harbhajan mann and making a punjabi film which is set too release end of this year probably in december.

Extensively shot in punjab university on chandigarh campus, it tells the story of Navdeep ( jimmy shergill) who believes in doing the right thing even at the cost of his own happiness, He is from a very good family from a village, lives with his father (raj babbar) who was in the army, mother and a younger sister, navdeep comes and visit his family once a week, because he misses them.

Harman(juhi babbar) is also from a nice family, her father (anupam kher) was also a colonel in the army and a mother who is more like a friend to her. Navdeep and harman at first don't get along with each other that much, but later on fall in love with each other.

One day navdeep decides to tell his father about harman, when he does his father at first gets mad because he send his only son to be educated in one of the top universities in punjab, not to hang around with girls, same with harman's parents but slowly they understand and decide to meet with each other parents. Once anupam kher and raj babbar suppose to meet each other at a party where they find out that they both used to be in the same army group back in the days, and hate each other.

Harman and navdeep friends give them advice just to run away and get married, but they both decide to stop seeing each other, because they love their parents and doesnot want to do anything that would hurt them, but they hope one day their parents would agree to their marriage, both decide to stay happy at home, go to college with their regular schdule, seeing this their parents hearts melt and they decide to marry them.

Yaaran naal baharan is a story of navdeep and harman's dreams and beliefs are challenged and they must overcome the adversities life throws at them.

The director manmohan singh has done a excellent job, seems to be the only director making some good standard love stories. Please do watch this movie and support the punjabi movies industry by buying this dvd, it's only like 13 bucks, we need more original love story movies like this like we had back in the days for example Dil hai ke manta nahin in hindi.

The other good part of the film is the music by jaidev kumar and lyrics by babbu singh mann, Even sunidhi chauhan the top charter in hindi films sings two songs in this film in punjabi, todays top singer amrinder gill, sukwinder singh, jaspinder narula, sardool sikander also sing in this film. My favorite song was le mein teri by sunidhi chauhan and amrinder gill and second was dil nai lagda by sardool sikander, great soundtrack as well.

Performancewise- JImmy shergill does a better job then harbhajan mann, because he is an actor by proffesion, jimmy shergill is a underrated actor in bollywood, but he proved in munnabhai and yahaan that he has talent in him. Juhi babbar didn't quite make it in bollywood, but she does a nice job in this film. Raj babbar and anupam kher do their part well. Gurpreet ghuggi is great in comedy. Everyone else do their part well.

Overall a great movie for the families, great love story.
