I had booked  a  flat  in  Unitech  Unihomes  3  project  sector  113  NOIDA  in  January  2012., As per the  allotment  letter  they were supposed  to  give possession  in 30  months  time which has been  completed  in July  2014.   The flat costs  around 32 Lakhs out of which 25 laks have been paid by me as and when  demanded  by the company.   But till  now only super  structure  work has been  done and after  that  work has been stopped reasons  not  known to any investor in this project. I have been  paying  huge amount  of  EMI as well  as  paying  for  rent.  This UNITECH  Group  is a big fraud.   Please do not invest  in  any of their project and if you have already  invested  in their projects try to come out.   their reputation  in the open mar ket is very bad.   I will  give zero  star for their work

Unitech Really sucks.Dont purchase any flat from them. They are cheaters and will do fraud by keeping the money and doing a damn construction. I would like to give a -100 rating if possible. But this facility not availiable. They are just cheating on the innocent buyers. They charge penality of 18%  per day if you dont pay them on time and on there delay they claim to pay a penality of Rs 5 per sqft which would be overwritten by there stupid excuses like increase in super area and other stuff. Wish there was a strong rule in india to put these cheaters behind bars. Dont ever buy a flat from unitech. We are stuck just savve your self.

I bought a flat at unihomes3 project in Noida on Feb 2012- B1 towerwith a promise on allotment letter to give possession in 30 months. I paid 95% of the total amount upfront- over 33 lacks, only trusting their name. But its been over 30 months now and they have only constructed ground floor. They have very smartly put a penalty clause of only rs 5 PSF in agreement and they charge the customer 18% on delayed payment. Just Rip Off! They should be made to refund the customers total amount paid with 18% interest.

Poor buyers like me are suffering from the burden of rent and Home loan emi.

The management of Unitech should be dragged to court for cheating customers.

I had booked a 2 bedroom 899 sqft apartment in Unitech Unihomes 3 in Noida sector 113 in A1 tower in about 31 lacs. As per their allotment letter Unitech was supposed to hand over the possession within 30 months from the date of allotment which is August 2014. So far they have completed only the structure and after that stopped the construction. The finishing of the whole tower will take minimum 2 years if they continue the work. My apartment is in A1 tower and they have stopped the work in this tower as they have collected 95% of the payment from most of the buyers. Now they have started the structure in other tower and they will do the same thing with every tower. They had been doing this with all their projects. Unihomes 1 and 2 possession was due in 2012 and its still not completed. The buyers in these projects are running pillar to post. Many have filled cases in various consumer forums. Please do not invest in any of the Unitech projects as their possessions are delayed by 3 to 5 years and the company has committed fraud with many buyers by duping them with their hard earned money.

If there was any ZERO star I would have given that. One star only for that reason. They dont deserve that.

I had booked a 2 bedroom 899 sqft apartment in Unitech Unihomes 3 in Noida sector 113 on 6th February 2012 for Rs 3228000. I bought a flat from Uni-tech for myself in Jan 2010 when full structure was ready. They said you will get the flat in next 1.6 year. But nothing has happened till yet.

They already took 90% money and I am paying rent and EMI and it is affecting me badly. Whenever I went to them they gave me new dates.

I would not recommend any one to buy any flat from Unitech. All projects in Gurgaon from Unitech are delayed without any reason. Unitech haven't handed over any project from 2008 in Gurgaon.

So please beware before purchasing any flat from Unitech.

I did the booking in one of the projects of Unitech India, Unihomes, Noida phase 2 and while booking they told the project completion as well as possession date some where around in june 2011 but till now no news of possession.

Leave possession, if anyone visits on their site, you can think that they have CHEATED you as there is no sign of project completion till June 2013. I won't recommend this UNITECH to anyone. They are cheaters, pure cheaters.

I am a resident of Southcity I, Gurgaon. The condition of roads here is so pathetic that everyday when people drive on them, they curse themselves for purchasing plot in that colony. Whose responsibility to get them repaired? Whose responsibility to ensure residents satisfaction?

Residents here are sad and helpless? We request Unitech to kindly do something about it. Living here has become terrible?

Being at such a prime location this place demands a better maintenance!

During rains, the situation got worst, there was a pond outside our house whenever it rained and there was water up till our knees for days and we had so much discomfort going for work everyday?

I purchased a flat in Unitech Nirvana-Close North in 2005 after paying full amount in DP. I was assured completion of the flat by Oct 2007. It is now Mid 2010 and still nothing is ready. The sales personnel from Unitech at that time painted a Rosy Pictures about the project. The project has been going on for last more than 5 years and now the company says  it might be ready by April 2011. One  can see two or three workers working in the building and  can easily make out that company has no intention to complete the project.

On going into details I was surprised to find out that at the time they sold me the property , the particular land did not belong to Unitech (Khosla ka Ghonsla). Hence this is a case of  share fraud and cheating by such a branded company . I am in the process of fighting a decisive legal battle with the company to recover penalties and also to save further innocent consumers like me from such harassment.

I would appeal to all owners of flats in this locality to get in touch with me for  a joint fight against Unitech to recover our dues and save future consumers from getting into such traps.

The Chandras and Unitech are misleading homeowners

Developers Chandras of Unitech are misleading homeowners. They continue to launch new projects while families promised homes two years ago are still waiting. The World Spa project is a prime example. Ignored and left with no choice, owners in Spa are preparing to camp outside the Chandras’ office.

On April 2nd, at 11am, frustrated, homeless owners assembled at the Unitech offices seeking some resolution and a written commitment from Unitech on time lines for completion of each tower. With over 350 apartments and villas in the Spa East and West, the Chandras and Unitech likely collected over 450Crores – nearly 95% of the cost. Many owners have raised a question as to whether these funds have been misdirected elsewhere, away from the World Spa project. The work has come to a standstill for the past few months. The property was scheduled for delivery in the 2nd half of 2006. Two years later, more than half have not yet been delivered with no completion date in sight.

In A wing out of the 6 towers – 1 tower A 3 still remains unfinished. In B wing of the 6 towers only B 6 is ready for possession and work has completely stopped in the other towers for the past few months. Common facilities e.g., the club house, tennis courts etc also remain unfinished and semi constructed.

Seems that developers like Chandras of Unitech feel all homeowners and investors are powerless and are taking advantage of their position. They are taking money from hard working families, and not delivering what they have promised. And they continue to launch new projects(Unitech Grande and Unitech Gardens 2) with more fanfare and more promises. Current owners warn that the Chandras and Unitech are likely to ignore these promises as well once they have collected the funds.

The World Spa owners seem shocked at the high handed attitude of the Chandras, who in the last two years have neither responded to any communication nor provided any firm delivery dates. They find this totally unacceptable, coming from a developer who while launching the project had personally invited the owners to invest.

The delay and silence are causing great hardship. People's leases have expired and they continue to pay high rents. Some had to leave their rented homes with no option. One of the owners, the Kapurs, had to be separated from their aging parents. Many have had to move into hotels or apartments awaiting their promised homes.

Some of the owners were looking to this as their first home and others as their retirement home. Their lives are on hold while Chandras and Unitech have shown an unresponsive and uncaring attitude. Residential projects are supposed to be self-financing, so they cannot understand the delay? Most of the money has been paid by the residents. Nobody can understand why there is a shortage of funds. The owners are asking where these funds have gone.

In this time of financial crisis, many of Unitech’s owners are forced to pay for rent and bank EMI’s, adding an even greater burden.

It is time for Unitech and all developers to use the funds they’ve collected to deliver the homes they’ve promised. On Thursday the 2nd. Of April about 60 World Spa owners gathered at the Signature tower to meet the Chandras to get a firm commitment for restarting the work. The Chandras did not meet the owners, but some Unitech officials said the work may resume soon and have promised to give a written commitment to his effect – but this has still not been delivered as yet.

Meanwhile people who have put in their hard earned money and life’s earning in the project continue to live in suspense and fear and wonder when and if they will finally get a roof over their heads.

I have invested in the Unitech Agra project in April of 2006 and the project has not started even three years since Unitech started collecting funds towards the project.

For the past year I have tried to get my money refunded from Unitech to no avail. Initially I contacted Mr. Amit Bhatia of Shaloo Agencies Gurgaon through whom I had made the investment. Whenever I used to call him he would say the refund will be made available within a month but it never happened. Then in January 2009 he asked me to contact Unitech Limited directly and referred me to Mr. Sameer Ahlawat who works in the Unitech Corporate office in Gurgaon(124-4125-200).

The first couple of times I spoke to him he told me that the cheque was made and just needs to be signed by the Finance manager who was not in office. That went on for a month and he finally asked me to contact Mr. Popli or Mr. P.K. Mishra. I call them repeatedly and they were either never available at the office or were in a meeting and could not talk.

This seems to me to be a big fraud and I am really disappointed and frustrated by the unprofessional attitude of the Unitech staff and also Shaloo Agencies. At this point it really seems a remote possibility of my getting my money back but would like to warn investors in getting involved with either Unitech Limited or Shaloo Agencies.
