Review on Team The County, Joka, Kolkata

Hi... We had booked a flat at Team Taurus in early 2014 in Kolkata Joka location and also paid hefty advance of 12.50 Lacs during that time. Disney theme attracted us big time. After that we visited the site multiple times but no development was taking place. So as we required our financial money back, we cancelled our flat in June 2018 and team taurus accepted our request on condition that they will not pay any interest which is accrued on the advance money paid by us and secondly they will pay us in installments. We had no option but to accept the same. We did not got our full money back. We visited the office multiple times to ask for our money. Their staff misbehaved with us and did not provide us money. Then they started giving false promises that they will pay the full money by this time and that time, etc. Whenever we used to call, the staff would say they have left the organization and would give some other contact details. We visited the office multiple times to ask for our money and they would provide post dated checks and whenever we used to deposit the checks, it got bounced multiple times. We informed them and they said whenever they will say then only we can deposit the checks otherwise we won't be getting our money back. Till date we received only 4.75 lacs money back that too after a long battle with them and rest we have not yet received. They promised us to give our money back in June 2022 I.e. after 4 years of cancellation and that also without interest and also giving excuses of Covid 19. But now, they are not even picking up our calls and also blocked our numbers and not giving any replies.

We had talk with multiple owners who have booked in this project and came to know that Amitabh Roy (CEO of Team Taurus) is a fraudster and many people have lost their hard earned money which they are not able to recover. Till now the property has not been built I.e. after 9 years and he has looted many middle class man like us. Is it fair that in our country fraudster like Amitabh Roy is roaming in Mercedes and living in a luxury flat by looting our hard earned monet whereas we middle class people are suffering. WE ALL REALLY WANT JUSTICE so that more people should not be looted like we have been looted.
