This company does not deserve a star. Big time cheaters.
I am writing to raise a concern in regards to the booking at Balaji Symphony, New Panvel project.
Following the site visit, Ms. Malti Shejwal showed us an apartment K-304 in October 2016, where she confirmed that there will not be any kind of cancellation or hidden charges at any stage. We are entitled to get a full money refund at any point of time. We believed and trusted her and paid Rs. 1, 00, 000/- as a token amount.
To proceed further as a part of the loan process, we understand that the K-304 was already purchased by another customer of Balaji Symphony when we approached HDFC, New Panvel branch, We were in complete shock. We ran back to Balaji Symphony, New Panvel Site office at the same time to get clarification about this blunder, in a better way, it is not only just a blunder, it is a fraud. If the K-304 Customer did not have taken a loan from HDFC, we would have proceeded with the loan for K-304 and would have been in big trouble.
Was it intentional to sell one flat to two customers? What kind of professionalism is this?
When we asked for justification, Ms.Malti arrogantly raised her hands, started giving some not acceptable excuses and did not accept her fault. We decided to cancel the booking at the same time, then she proposed K-204 flat by reconfirming that there will not be any kind of cancellation charges or deductions or hidden charges further. (Another trap?)
Well, we did not know she was misleading the information this time too. After a brainstorming discussion, we asked for more details about the project like possession date and certifications etc. She confirmed the possession by the end of 2017. She also confirmed to provide this information written in the agreement when we asked for it.
Again, on believing her confirmations, we asked for the agreement copy before paying to be sure but with continuous pressure from Malti, we ended up with paying Rs.3, 83, 261/- including taxes in total then to receive a sample copy of agreement mentioning the possession date march 2018 with the extension of 6 months, apart from this there were several things which she neither explained properly nor responded to my calls as we wanted to get the clarifications on the information mentioned in the sample agreement copy. We were annoyed and completely fed up with this way of communication and finally took a call to cancel the booking and requested for a refund but here again, on the very same day your accounts(as per Malti) paid the stamp duty purposely when I informed her to cancel the booking, we did not understand why they do this?. She said as per standard rule there will be booking cancellation charges(Now THIS NEVER MENTIONED standard rule came from where?).
We failed to understand why she lied from the beginning. Why did she not explain things properly? We trusted and believed in a reputed company like yours. I hope you understand the pain, frustration of people like us who earn money hard to pay for a house, and in return, we received FRAUD treatment as explained.
What was our fault?
As a SO CALLED reputed company like Space India, it is not expected at all. I am totally disappointed with this kind of pathetic experience. After so many requests since 2016, still waiting to get Rs. 38, 142.00/- back which is again the height of unprofessionalism(I can provide all the proof of payments done towards M/s. Balaji Symphony for the details above). For the last, so many years we have been trying to reach the right and concerned person to get this hard-earned money back.
I am sending a regular mail and requesting them to return my money but they are not returning and forcefully they have taken signatures from my father during the initial stages, saying that he is accepting their conditions and agree with the money deduction which is completely unethical and fraud as the sales agreement was not signed and they needed the reason to earn the free money from innocent customer like us(they have done the same thing with many customers and they all are struggling to get their money from Balaji symphony)I request respected authorities to look into this issue and help me to get my money back from Balaji Symphony.
